Brandon Kang, DDS, is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon at Pacific Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Center located in Oakland and the Lower Pacific Heights neighborhood of San Francisco, California.

Dr. Kang received his Doctor of Dental Surgery at New York University, graduating as the valedictorian of his class in 2004. While a dental student at NYU, he was inducted and awarded as an outstanding student with the highest performance and professionalism by the New York Section of American College of Dentists. Upon graduation, Dr. Kang continued his oral and maxillofacial surgery training with a residency at Woodhull Medical and Mental Center in Brooklyn, now known as NYC Health + Hospitals/Woodhull, affiliated with NYU Langone Medical Center.

After completing his residency program, Dr. Kang joined a multi-specialty practice at Geisinger Medical Center in Mechanicsville, Pennsylvania. At Geisinger, he practiced the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including orthognathic surgery, TMJ surgery, craniofacial trauma, maxillofacial pathology, sleep apnea, alveolar/lip/palatal clefts, and dental implantology.

In addition to practicing medicine, Dr. Kang teaches oral and maxillofacial surgery residents at University of Pacific and has lectured throughout the United States and internationally. He is also passionate about helping underserved populations through medical missions in developing countries.

Dr. Kang is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the International Congress of Oral Implantology.
